Walking along the streets of Valencia’s Old Town, you witness centuries of history unfolding in front of your eyes in form or architectural marvels, emblematic monuments, remarkable plazas, winding narrow streets…. So finally, when tired of this (regardless how much mind-blowing) cityscape “slideshow” you may have a wish sit down for a cocktail, cup of coffee or even small “almuerzo”. To relax and enjoy the precious time, consider moving out of the streets, and in such case, there is nothing better than moving up to one of Valencian rooftop restaurants. Life from “above” looks quite different, very similar scenery but somehow far from the crowds on the street, possibly heavenly (at least closer to heavens), and definitely distant from city’s hectic life …

In Valencia’s Old Town you have few such opportunities. The best are offered by “Petit Bistro” (facing Plaza de la Reina), Ateneo Sky Bar (facing Plaza Ayuntamiento) and believe or not – nearby Corte Ingles (giant Supermercado on the Colon street).

Honestly, this one is my favorite 🙂 I love everything about it: The atmosphere (so not that boring “department store bars” flare), wide range of wonderful food, magnificent views, reasonable prices. You name it – it has it all! Just go and check it out! Read More Here!

270 Degrees Sky Rooftop Bar Valencia

Ateneo Sky Bar Restaurant Valencia

If you are a history fan, then I strongly recommend this place. Visiting a historic building, like this one, is something else 🙂

270 Degrees Sky Rooftop Bar Valencia

The bar “270 Degrees” located on the roof of the hotel Barceló offers to visitors quite different advantages compared to rooftop bars located in the center of Valencia. Given its location in the modern district at the boundary of the old town, it offers an open, unobstructed view on the skyline of the city as well as a close view on the “Turia Park” and nearby City of Arts and Science (Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias).
