Rooftop Restaurants in Valencia are popping up like mushrooms in recent years. Walking along the streets of Valencia’s Old Town, you witness centuries of history. It is unfolding in front of your eyes in the form of architectural marvels, emblematic monuments, remarkable plazas, winding narrow streets…. So finally, when tired of this (regardless of how much mind-blowing) cityscape “slideshow” you may wish to sit down for a cocktail, cup of coffee, or even a small “almuerzo”. To relax and enjoy precious time, consider moving out of the streets, and in such case, there is nothing better than moving up to one of the Valencian rooftop restaurants. Life from “above” looks quite different, with very similar scenery but somehow far from the crowds on the street, possibly heavenly (at least closer to the heavens), and definitely distant from the city’s hectic life …

In Valencia’s Old Town, you have few such opportunities. The best is offered by “Petit Bistro” (facing Plaza de la Reina), Ateneo Sky Bar (facing Plaza Ayuntamiento), and believe it or not – nearby Corte Ingles (giant Supermercado on Colon Street).

270 Degrees Sky Rooftop Bar Valencia

The bar “270 Degrees” located on the roof of the hotel Barceló offers visitors quite different advantages compared to rooftop bars located in the center of Valencia. Given its location in the modern district at the boundary of the old town, it offers an open, unobstructed view of the skyline of the city as well as a close view of the “Turia Park” and nearby City of Arts and Science (Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias).
